La temporada 2019-20 fue la 52ª temporada de la Northern Premier League . Después de una temporada, las dos divisiones de la División Uno se volvieron a alinear desde el oeste y el este hasta el noroeste y el sureste.
La Liga anunció el 8 de julio de 2019 que los nuevos patrocinadores para 2019-20 eran BetVictor. [1]
Como resultado de la pandemia de COVID-19 , la competencia de esta temporada se abandonó formalmente el 26 de marzo de 2020, con todos los resultados de la temporada eliminados y sin promoción o descenso desde, hacia o dentro de la competencia. [2] El 30 de marzo de 2020, sesenta y seis clubes fuera de la liga enviaron una carta abierta a la Asociación de Fútbol solicitando que reconsideraran su decisión. [3] Una apelación legal contra la decisión, financiada por South Shields , fue desestimada en junio de 2020. [4]

The 2019–20 Northern Premier League Challenge Cup, known as the 2019–20 Integro Doodson League Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the 50th season of the Northern Premier League Challenge Cup, the main cup competition in the Northern Premier League. It was sponsored by Doodson Sport for an eighth consecutive season. 62 clubs entered the competition, beginning with the First Round, and all ties ended after 90 minutes and if the scores were level concluded with penalties.
The format from last season remains with two clubs to receive a bye into Round 2.
The defending champions are Trafford
The Competition alongside the League contest was abandoned with no title awarded due to the Coronavirus Pandemic
