- Louisiana 5 : Luke Letlow ( derecha ) murió el 29 de diciembre de 2020 de COVID-19 antes de asumir el cargo. Julia Letlow (derecha), la esposa de Luke Letlow, ganó las elecciones especiales el 20 de marzo de 2021 y aún no ha prestado juramento.
- Louisiana 2 : Cedric Richmond ( D ) renunció el 15 de enero de 2021 para convertirse en el director de la Oficina de Participación Pública en la administración de Biden . Lasegunda vuelta de las elecciones especiales se llevará a cabo el 24 de abril de 2021.
- Texas 6 : Ron Wright (R) murió el 7 de febrero de 2021. Tenía cáncer de pulmón en etapa IV (diagnosticado a fines de 2018) [2] [3] y también se infectó con COVID-19 , convirtiéndose en el primer miembro del Congreso en sucumbir a la enfermedad.
