La vocal abierta media delantera no redondeada , o vocal baja media delantera no redondeada , [1] es un tipo de sonido de vocal utilizado en algunos idiomas hablados . El símbolo en el Alfabeto Fonético Internacional que representa este sonido es una variante latinizada de la minúscula griega épsilon , ⟨ del ɛ ⟩.

Funciones [ editar ]

  • La altura de su vocal es media abierta , también conocida como media baja, lo que significa que la lengua se coloca a medio camino entre una vocal abierta (una vocal baja ) y una vocal media .
  • Su reverso vocal es frontal , lo que significa que la lengua se coloca hacia adelante en la boca sin crear una constricción que se clasificaría como consonante .
  • No está redondeado , lo que significa que los labios no están redondeados.
