William Beedham Starr

Nació en 1865 en Quorndon, Leicestershire, hijo de Thomas Starr (1832-1918) y Arabella Beedham (1833-1921). Se casó con Emily Ida Kirkness en 1890 en Scarborough. En 1891 figuraba como residente en 12 Stratford Square, Nottingham. Era un consejero liberal y en 1906 fue nombrado juez de paz de Nottinghamshire.

Fue articulado a Lawrence Bright y luego se estableció en el negocio alrededor de 1898 con oficinas en Rutland Chambers, 12 St Peter's Gate, Nottingham. Produjo varias casas en Mapperley Park Estate desde 1906 hasta 1914. Construyó su propia casa, Northfield en 470 Mansfield Road en la propiedad. Tenía oficinas en 12 Victoria Street, Nottingham.

En 1910 se asoció con Edwin Benjamin Holmes Hall (1883-1939), y durante 29 años ejercieron como WB Starr and Hall , hasta la muerte de Hall en 1939. ^[2]

Murió el 2 de noviembre de 1953 en 18 Baker Street, Nottingham y dejó una herencia valorada en £ 51,985 11s 4d (equivalente a £ 1,484,000 en 2020). ^[3]
