La competición de clasificación del Campeonato Femenino Sub-17 de la UEFA 2015 fue una competición de fútbol femenino sub-17 disputada en 2014 y 2015 para determinar los siete equipos que se unirán a Islandia , que se clasificaron automáticamente como anfitriones, en la fase final del Campeonato Femenino Sub-17 de la UEFA 2015 . [1] Un total de 43 equipos nacionales miembros de la UEFA participaron en la competición de clasificación.

Cada partido tuvo una duración de 80 minutos, divididos en dos mitades de 40 minutos, con un intervalo de 15 minutos.
Formato
La competición de clasificación constaba de dos rondas: [2]
- Ronda de clasificación : Aparte de Alemania , Francia y España , que reciben pases a la ronda élite como los tres equipos con el coeficiente de clasificación más alto, los 40 equipos restantes se dividieron en 10 grupos de cuatro equipos. Cada grupo se jugó en un formato de todos contra todos en uno de los equipos seleccionados como anfitriones después del sorteo. Los 10 ganadores de grupo, los 10 subcampeones y el tercer equipo con el mejor récord frente al primer y segundo equipo de su grupo avanzaron a la ronda élite.
- Ronda élite : Los 24 equipos se dividieron en seis grupos de cuatro equipos. Cada grupo se jugó en un formato de todos contra todos en uno de los equipos seleccionados como anfitriones después del sorteo. Los seis ganadores de grupo y el subcampeón con mejor récord contra los equipos en primer y tercer lugar de su grupo se clasificaron para la fase final.
Desempates
Si dos o más equipos obtuvieron puntos iguales al finalizar un mini-torneo, se aplicaron los siguientes criterios de desempate, en el orden indicado, para determinar la clasificación: [2]
- Mayor número de puntos obtenidos en los partidos del mini-torneo disputados entre los equipos en cuestión;
- Diferencia de goles superior resultante de los partidos de mini-torneo disputados entre los equipos en cuestión;
- Mayor número de goles marcados en los partidos del mini-torneo disputados entre los equipos en cuestión;
- Si, después de haber aplicado los criterios 1 a 3, los equipos aún tenían una clasificación igual, los criterios 1 a 3 se volvieron a aplicar exclusivamente a los partidos del mini-torneo entre los equipos en cuestión para determinar su clasificación final. Si este procedimiento no conducía a una decisión, se aplicaban los criterios 5 a 9;
- Diferencia de goles superior en todos los partidos de mini-torneo;
- Mayor número de goles marcados en todos los partidos de mini-torneo;
- Si solo dos equipos tenían el mismo número de puntos y estaban empatados de acuerdo con los criterios 1 a 6 después de haberse enfrentado en la última ronda del mini-torneo, su clasificación se determinaba mediante una tanda de penaltis (no se usa si hay más de dos equipos tenían el mismo número de puntos, o si sus clasificaciones no eran relevantes para la clasificación para la siguiente etapa).
- Menor total de puntos disciplinarios basado solo en tarjetas amarillas y rojas recibidas en los partidos del mini-torneo (tarjeta roja = 3 puntos, tarjeta amarilla = 1 punto, expulsión por dos tarjetas amarillas en un partido = 3 puntos);
- Sorteo.
Para determinar el mejor tercer clasificado de la ronda clasificatoria y el mejor subcampeón de la ronda élite, se descartaron los resultados contra los equipos en cuarto lugar. Se aplicaron los siguientes criterios: [2]
- Mayor número de puntos;
- Diferencia de goles superior;
- Mayor número de goles marcados;
- Menor total de puntos disciplinarios basado únicamente en tarjetas amarillas y rojas recibidas (tarjeta roja = 3 puntos, tarjeta amarilla = 1 punto, expulsión por dos tarjetas amarillas en un partido = 3 puntos);
- Sorteo.

Los equipos fueron sembrados de acuerdo con su ranking de coeficientes, calculado en base a lo siguiente: [5]
- Fase final del Campeonato Femenino Sub-17 de la UEFA 2011 y competición de clasificación (fase de clasificación y ronda élite)
- Fase final del Campeonato Femenino Sub-17 de la UEFA de 2012 y competición de clasificación (fase de clasificación y fase de élite)
- Fase final del Campeonato Femenino Sub-17 de la UEFA de 2013 y competición de clasificación (fase de clasificación y fase de élite)
Cada grupo contenía un equipo del Bombo A, un equipo del Bombo B y dos equipos del Bombo C.

Ronda élite
Draw
The draw for the elite round was held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on 19 November 2014 at 12:15 CET (UTC+1).[7][8]
The teams were seeded according to their results in the qualifying round.[9][10] Germany, France and Spain, which received byes to the elite round, were automatically seeded into Pot A. Each group contained one team from Pot A, one team from Pot B, one team from Pot C, and one team from Pot D. Teams from the same qualifying round group could not be drawn in the same group.[11]
