La 2017-18 Eurocup , también conocido como 7DAYS EuroCup por razones de patrocinio, la temporada fue la temporada 16 de la Euroliga de Baloncesto 's nivel secundario club profesional de baloncesto torneo. Las Finales de la EuroCup 2018 se jugaron entre Darüşşafaka y Lokomotiv Kuban , y fueron ganadas por Darüşşafaka, que fue su primer título de la EuroCup . Como ganador de la EuroCup Basketball 2017-18, Darüşşafaka se clasificó para la temporada de la Euroliga 2018-19 de primer nivel europeo .
Cambios de formato
Para la temporada 2017-18, la EuroCup volvió al formato inicial de la temporada 2016-17 que incluye 24 equipos jugando en cuatro grupos de temporada regular, con 16 equipos avanzando a la fase Top 16, con cuatro grupos de cuatro equipos cada uno. Ocho equipos se clasificarán para cuartos de final al mejor de tres, a los que seguirán semifinales al mejor de tres y finales al mejor de tres. [1]

El sorteo se celebró el 6 de julio de 2017, a las 13:30 CEST , en el Auditorio Mediapro de Barcelona . [4] Los 24 equipos se dividieron en cuatro grupos de seis, con la restricción de que los equipos del mismo país no se podían enfrentar entre sí. Para este propósito, Adriatic League funcionó como un solo país. Para el sorteo, los equipos fueron sembrados en seis bombos, de acuerdo con el Ranking de Clubes , en base a su desempeño en competiciones europeas durante un período de tres años y se calcula la posición más baja posible que cualquier club de esa liga puede ocupar en el sorteo. agregando los resultados del equipo con peor desempeño de cada liga. Playoffs
In the playoffs, teams played against each other must win two games to win the series. Thus, if one team wins two games before all three games have been played, the game that remains is omitted. The team that finished in the higher Top 16 place will play the first and the third (if it is necessary) legs of the series at home. The playoffs involves the eight teams which qualified as winners and runners-up of each of the four groups in the Top 16.
