Las elecciones para el Consejo de Distrito Autónomo de las Áreas Tribales de Tripura (TTAADC) se llevaron a cabo el 6 de abril de 2021. 25 de los 28 escaños elegidos en el Consejo de Distrito Autónomo están reservados para las tribus registradas . [1] [2] [3]

Había 865,041 votantes elegibles en las elecciones. Los votos se contaron el 10 de abril de 2021 con una victoria de la alianza TIPRA-INPT. [2] [4] [5] [6] La alianza liderada por el partido TIPRA ganó 18 escaños en las elecciones mientras que la alianza liderada por el BJP solo pudo ganar 9 escaños. [7] [8] [9] [10]

Campaña [ editar ]

El Frente de Izquierda, formado por el Partido Comunista de la India (marxista) , el Partido Comunista de la India , el Bloque Adelante de Toda la India y el RSP, declaró su lista de candidatos para 28 escaños el 6 de marzo de 2021. [11] [12] El Frente de los Pueblos Indígenas de Tripura ( IPFT) anunció su lista de candidatos para 18 escaños el 7 de marzo de 2021. [13] [14] El TIPRA de Maharaja Kirit Pradyot Deb Barman y su partido de alianza, el Partido Nacionalista Indígena de Tripura (INPT), anunció su primera lista de candidatos para 17 escaños [ 15] y 5 escaños respectivamente el 8 de marzo de 2021. [16] ElEl Congreso Nacional de la India (INC) también anunció su lista de candidatos para los 28 escaños el 8 de marzo de 2021. [17]

Incidents[edit]

The total voting process was peaceful. However there were reports of minor disturbances in two constituencies, namely Budhjung Nagar-Wakkinagar and Amtali-Golaghati. The TIPRA accused the ruling BJP for creating the disturbance.[18]

Results[edit]

The votes were scheduled to be counted on 10 April 2021 and in the counting the TIPRA party won 16 seats with its alliance partner INPT winning 2 seats in the election while the BJP won 9 seats with 1 seat going to an Independent candidate.[19][20][21][22][23]

The Executive committee of the TTAADC was formed by notification of the CEO on 23 April, 2021 by TIPRA, the winning party alliance after getting elected and installed by the Governor of the state. The list of the Executive members are as follows:
