Chris Lee (nacido el 3 de octubre de 1980) es un ex defensa canadiense de hockey sobre hielo profesional que jugó por última vez con Metallurg Magnitogorsk en la Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
Carrera de jugador [ editar ]
Lee jugó 249 partidos de temporada regular en la Liga Americana de Hockey para Albany River Rats , Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights , Iowa Stars , Bridgeport Sound Tigers . Y Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins .
Jugó la temporada 2011-12 con Adler Mannheim en la Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). [1] Para la temporada 2011-12 DEL , Lee ganó el premio Defensa del año. [2] Jugó en el Elitserien con Färjestad BK durante la temporada 2012-13. [3]
Después de una exitosa primera temporada en 2013-14 ayudando al club ruso Metallurg Magnitogorsk a reclamar la Copa Gagarin , Lee firmó una extensión de contrato por tres años el 16 de octubre de 2014. [4] Ayudó al equipo a recuperar el campeonato en 2016, mientras que también liderando a todos los defensores en playoffs anotando con 13 puntos (empatado con Nikita Zaitsev y Sami Lepistö ).
Juego internacional [ editar ]
Lee originalmente representó a un equipo de Canadá con base en Europa en la Copa Deutschland en 2013 y 2017. Durante el Campeonato Mundial IIHF de 2017 , Lee fue agregado a la lista de Canadá después de una extraña lesión sufrida por su compañero defensa Tyson Barrie en el hotel del equipo. [5] Hizo su debut internacional completo con Canadá, contribuyendo con una asistencia en la victoria por 3-2 sobre el equipo anfitrión Francia el 11 de mayo de 2017.
Lee jugó para Canadá en los Juegos Olímpicos de Invierno de 2018 . [6]
