Henley fue un distrito rural en Oxfordshire , Inglaterra desde 1894 hasta 1974. [1]
Se nombró por el municipio de Henley-on-Thames , que rodeaba por el oeste pero no incluía.
Fue creado por la Ley de Gobierno Local de 1894 a partir de la mayor parte del distrito sanitario rural de Henley , con tres parroquias de Buckinghamshire que forman un distrito rural de Hambleden .
En 1932, el distrito cambió las fronteras de manera significativa, al anexar el distrito rural de Goring y parte del distrito rural de Crowmarsh disuelto , mientras que perdía otras partes del nuevo distrito rural de Bullingdon .
Fue abolido bajo la Ley de Gobierno Local de 1972 en 1974 y ahora forma parte del distrito de South Oxfordshire .
