Cien de Tarcowie
The Hundred of Tarcowie es una unidad catastral de cien ubicada en las laderas suroeste de Narien Range en el medio norte de Australia del Sur que abarca el municipio de Tarcowie , la localidad de Hornsdale y sus alrededores. [1] Uno de los 12 cientos del condado de Dalhousie , fue proclamado en 1871 por el gobernador James Fergusson y recibió su nombre de un término indígena que se cree que significa 'agua de lavado'. Local administration of the hundred commenced in 1888, when it was annexed by the District Council of Caltowie following the promulgation of the District Councils Act 1887. In 1935 Caltowie council amalgamated with most of the Belalie council and the Mannanarie ward of Yongala council to form the new District Council of Jamestown. In 1997 Jamestown became part of the much larger Northern Areas Council.
