Jai Narain Prasad Nishad (18 de noviembre de 1930 - 24 de diciembre de 2018) [1] fue un político indio y miembro del parlamento de la circunscripción de Muzaffarpur Lok Sabha en el estado indio de Bihar . [2] [3] Fue Ministro de Estado de la Unión en 1996-1998 y ha sido miembro de Lok Sabha cinco veces y ex miembro de Rajya Sabha . [4] Fue miembro de Janata Dal (United) y del Partido Bharatiya Janata . [2] [3] [4] [5] Su hijo, Ajay Nishad es el diputado de Muzaffarpur.
Descalificado del parlamento Nishad era miembro del BJP cuando fue descalificado como miembro de Rajya Sabha en abril de 2008 en virtud de la Ley contra la deserción por el vicepresidente de la India, quien también es el presidente de Rajya Sabha por cambiar de bando. [6] Fue removido como miembro de Rajya Sabha.
Se cambió a cinco partidos políticos quince veces, pero fue elegido del mismo escaño cinco veces. [7] [8]
