Esta es una lista de generales completos en el ejército británico desde las Actas de Unión 1707 . El rango de general (o general completo para distinguirlo de los rangos de oficiales generales inferiores ) es el rango más alto que pueden alcanzar actualmente los oficiales en servicio en el ejército británico. Se ubica por encima del teniente general y por debajo del mariscal de campo, que ahora solo se otorga como un rango honorario. La anotación "Ocupó rango en las Indias Orientales". indica que el oficial sirvió en la India en el ejército de la Compañía de las Indias Orientales.
