Richard Fothergill (1758–1821) fue un maestro del hierro en el sur de Gales y el fundador de la dinastía de maestros del hierro Fothergill. [1] [2]
Sus hijos fueron Richard Fothergill II (1789-1851), [3] Thomas Fothergill (1791-1858) y Rowland Fothergill (1794-1871). Su hija, Ann, se casó en 1877 con Sir Rose Lambert Price , bart. [1]
Su nieto Richard Fothergill III (1822-1903) fue un maestro de hierro y político liberal que se sentó en la Cámara de los Comunes desde 1868 hasta 1880. [4]
