Robert Lowther (1741-1777) fue un Inglés Miembro del Parlamento , el hijo menor de Robert Lowther y Catherine Pennington y hermano menor de James Lowther, 1r conde de Lonsdale .
Traído al Parlamento por el gobierno a través del interés de su hermano mayor, Robert desafió el ministerio y votó a favor de John Wilkes en 1763. Por esto, Lonsdale lo hizo remover de su asiento y Robert murió en la oscuridad. [1]
