Kohinoor Akhter [2] (conocida por su nombre artístico Shuchanda ) es una actriz y directora de cine de Bangladesh. Comenzó su carrera a mediados de la década de 1960 y actuó en unas 100 películas. Carrera profesional
Shuchanda debutó en la actuación con la película Kagojer Nouka (1966), dirigida por Subhash Dutta . [3] Actuó en películas como "Behula" (1966), "Shuorani Duorani" (1968) y " Jibon Theke Neya " (1970), dirigida por su futuro esposo Zahir Raihan . [6]
Como actriz, Shuchanda ganó un premio Nigar de Pakistán en 1987 por su papel en la película Hum Ek Hain . [3]
En 1985, Shuchanda debutó como productora de cine y produjo Teen Kanya , Taka Ana Pai y Protishodh , de su casa de producción "Suchanda Cholochitra". [1] [6]

Vida personal
Shuchanda estuvo casada con Zahir Raihan hasta su muerte en 1972, inmediatamente después de la guerra de liberación de 1971. [3] Tiene una hija, Lisa Malik y un hijo, Arafat Raihan Opu. [6]
