Douglas Hamilton Johnson es un académico estadounidense que vive en Gran Bretaña y se especializa en la historia del noreste de África, Sudán y el sur de Sudán. Fue un experto en las negociaciones del Acuerdo de Paz Integral de Sudán de 2003 sobre las Tres Áreas ( Abyei , Montañas Nuba y Nilo Azul ) y más tarde miembro de la Comisión de Límites de Abyei . Desde entonces, ha asesorado al Gobierno de Sudán del Sur en cuestiones de fronteras entre el norte y el sur. [1]
Vida personal
En 1977, Johnson se casó con Wendy James , una antropóloga y académica británica. Juntos han tenido dos hijos: un hijo y una hija. [2]
