El Blancpain Serie Sprint 2014 es la segunda temporada a raíz de la desaparición del Grupo SRO 's Campeonato del Mundo FIA GT1 (una automovilismo serie de Gran Turismo de coches), la primera con la designación de Blancpain Serie Sprint.

Calendario

La serie comenzará en el Circuito Paul Armagnac en Nogaro , Francia , el 21 de abril y finalizará en el Baku World Challenge en Azerbaiyán el 2 de noviembre. El calendario de siete eventos contenía en gran parte los mismos eventos que la FIA GT Series, con la adición de carreras en Brands Hatch en Gran Bretaña y Algarve en Portugal , y la retirada del Circuito de Navarra , España . Sistema de puntuación

Se otorgaron puntos de campeonato por las primeras seis posiciones en cada carrera clasificatoria y por las primeras diez posiciones en cada carrera de campeonato. El pole-sitter en la carrera de clasificación también recibió un punto, las inscripciones debían completar el 75% de la distancia de carrera del auto ganador para ser clasificado y ganar puntos. Los conductores individuales debían participar durante un mínimo de 25 minutos para ganar puntos de campeonato en cualquier carrera.
