Historia
Durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, la división luchó en el Frente Occidental en Bullecourt [1] en la Batalla de Arras y Havrincourt en la Batalla de Cambrai . Durante la Operación Michael , en 1918, estaban en la línea cerca de Arras y en la Segunda Batalla del Marne , en el Valle de Ardre. En la apertura de la Segunda Batalla del Somme (1918) , lucharon en la Batalla de Havrincourt y continuaron cruzando el Canal de Saint Quentin en Marcoing, antes de comenzar el avance de combate hacia Maubeuge en el Sambre .
