George Arthur Sheltz (born April 20, 1946) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. Bishop Sheltz served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston from 2012 to 2021.

Biography
George A. Sheltz studied at the University of St. Thomas, graduating in 1971.[1] Sheltz was ordained May 15, 1971.
Auxiliary Bishop of Galveston-Houston
He was appointed Titular Bishop of Hirina and Auxiliary to the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston on February 21, 2012 by Benedict XVI.[2] George Sheltz was consecrated auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston on May 2, 2012.[3]
