Gerald Niels Lund (nacido el 12 de septiembre de 1939) fue una autoridad general de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días (Iglesia SUD) de 2002 a 2008. Lund fue relevado como autoridad general y miembro del Segundo Quórum de la iglesia. Setenta el 4 de octubre de 2008.

Lund también es un popular escritor de ficción SUD , habiendo escrito la serie The Work and the Glory , así como la serie Kingdom and the Crown , entre otros libros. También ha escrito varias obras teológicas de no ficción para los Santos de los Últimos Días , entre las que se incluyen Hearing the Voice of the Lord: Principles and Patterns of Personal Revelation (2008) y The Coming of the Lord (reimpresión 2005). Lund y su esposa Lynn son padres de siete hijos. Lund también ha escrito poemas a los que su esposa ha puesto música.
