North Dorset es una circunscripción [n 1] representada en la Cámara de los Comunes del Parlamento del Reino Unido desde 2015 por Simon Hoare , un conservador . [n 2]

Historia [ editar ]

Este escaño fue creado por la Ley de Redistribución de Asientos de 1885 , desde la cual ha sido ganado en las elecciones por candidatos de solo dos partidos. Durante diecinueve de los años entre 1885 y 1950, North Dorset estuvo representada por liberales , y en todas las demás ocasiones desde 1885 ha estado representada por conservadores . Another General Election was required to take place before the end of 1940. The political parties had been making preparations for an election to take place and by the Autumn of 1939, the following candidates had been selected;

  • Conservative: Angus Hambro
  • Liberal: Frank Byers[21]
