Superfamily of moths
Las Geometroidea son la superfamilia de polillas geometridas del orden Lepidoptera . Incluye las familias Geometridae , Uraniidae , Epicopeiidae , Sematuridae y la familia recientemente establecida Pseudobistonidae . [1]
El género monotípico Apoprogones fue considerado por una minoría como una familia geometroide separada de los Apoprogonidae, pero ahora está subsumido bajo los Sematuridae.
