Magness Arena es un deportes universitarios multiusos Arena en Denver , Colorado . Fue construido entre 1997 y 1999 como parte del Daniel L. Ritchie Center , el complejo deportivo de la Universidad de Denver . Es el hogar de los equipos de baloncesto y hockey sobre hielo de Denver Pioneers . Reemplaza al antiguo DU Arena que fue demolido en 1997 para dar paso al Ritchie Center. Magness Arena abrió en septiembre de 1999, un mes antes que el Pepsi Center . La arena lleva el nombre del pionero de la televisión por cable Bob Magness , quien donó $ 10 millones para los costos de construcción. Cuenta con asientos individuales acolchados, dos áreas de asientos del club solo para miembros, un marcador de video de cuatro lados y un vestíbulo con vistas acristaladas del Gimnasio Hamilton y el Natatorio El Pomar contiguos. La arena se puede identificar alrededor de la ciudad por la Torre Williams con aguja dorada adjunta de 215 pies de altura (66 m), que contiene un carillón de 65 campanas .

La mayor multitud de hockey en la historia de la arena fue un juego entre Denver y Colorado College en 2012, cuando asistieron 6,207 fanáticos.
