Lumbfoot es una aldea en la parroquia civil de Haworth, Cross Roads y Stanbury , y en el distrito metropolitano de la ciudad de Bradford , Inglaterra. Historia
Lumbfoot Mill, construido en el piso de un valle, originalmente funcionaba con agua, pero adoptó la energía de vapor en c. 1900 . Desde entonces, el molino ha sido demolido en gran parte, pero aún quedan un muñón de 15 pies de la chimenea y la casa de máquinas, y hay evidencia del pozo que albergaba la noria original entre las ruinas. Una hilera de cabañas en Lumbfoot, que hoy están modernizadas, se construyeron entre 1840 y 1852 para albergar a los trabajadores del molino.
Declaración de independencia
En 1989, Lumbfoot declaró su independencia del Reino Unido tras una disputa entre los residentes de Lumbfoot y los residentes de la cercana aldea de Stanbury .
