La Autoridad de Transporte Metropolitano (MTA) opera varias rutas de autobús en el Bronx , Nueva York , Estados Unidos . Muchos de ellos son descendientes directos de las líneas de tranvías (consulte la lista de líneas de tranvías en el Bronx ). Todos los autobuses locales son operados por la Autoridad de Tránsito de la Ciudad de Nueva York , excepto el Bx23, que es operado por MTA Bus Company .

Cambios propuestos en la ruta del autobús [ editar ]
Como parte del Plan Fast Forward 2017 de la MTA para acelerar el servicio de transporte masivo, se propuso un borrador de plan para una reorganización de las rutas de autobuses del Bronx en formato borrador en junio de 2019, con una versión final publicada en octubre de 2019. Muchas de las propuestas preliminares fueron no incluido en la versión final. Se estableció que estos cambios entrarían en vigencia a mediados de 2020, pero debido a COVID-19, la implementación del rediseño se detuvo hasta nuevo aviso. [97] [98]

Febrero de 1984 Renovación de la ruta del autobús del Bronx [ editar ]
El 19 de febrero de 1984, se renovó todo el sistema de autobuses del Bronx, con varias rutas renumeradas, fusionadas o eliminadas, aunque algunas conservaron sus números originales (que no se enumeran a continuación).
